It’s Kieron Cane here with 3 Mental Magic Tricks That will knock their socks off!
Since 2010, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world and perform at all sorts of events.
I’ve also made a bunch of money in the process!
You see, while I was performing on cruise ships and getting flown around the world – I didn’t have to spend any money!
“I felt like a top celebrity
as everyone paid all my expenses!”
But there were THREE go-to Mental Magic Tricks that were always “up my sleeve” and ready to FLAW people when they asked to see a Mentalism trick.
And in this post, I’m going to not only tell you WHAT they are – I’m going to show you HOW to do them!
But only on one condition…
If you perform these, you promise not to reveal the secrets?
After all, there is no magic when the secrets are revealed.
So Let’s Get Into My 3 Mental Magic Tricks That You Can Perform Anyplace, Anytime!
1: This is one of my favorite Mental Magic Tricks to perform on the “spare of the moment” as you don’t need any props!
How To Perform The 37 Mental Magic Trick:
Find a willing spectator – preferably a stranger and tell them you’d like to try an experiment with them.
Ask your spectator to think of a number between 1 and 50 but use odd digits for each digit but use different digits.
90% of people will think of the number 37!
Now you can pretend to read their mind and you can reveal the number.
PRO TIP:
Before you start your performance, secretly write the number 37 on your arm using a wax candle.
When you then go to reveal the number, you can take some ashes from an ashtray and rub them onto your arm.
The number 37 will mysteriously appear on your arm!
2: There are no grey elephants in Denmark…
How To Perform The Elephant Mental Magic Effect:
Step 1: Ask a volunteer to think of a number between 1 and 10.
Step 2: Ask your volunteer to multiply their chosen number by 9.
Step 3: Ask your volunteer to add the two digits in the resulting number together.
Step 4: Ask your volunteer to subtract 5 from their number.
The end result will always be 4.
Step 5: Now ask your volunteer to assign each letter of the alphabet a number.
Starting from A, which would be a 1, B a 2, C a 3, and so on.
Step 6: Ask them to think of the letter that corresponds with their number.
So it will be D – a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4
Step 7: Now ask them to think of a country beginning with that letter.
(99% of people will think of Denmark at this stage)
Step 8: Now ask them to take the next letter after in the alphabet and think of an animal that begins with that letter.
(99% of people will think of an Elephant)
Step 9: Ask your volunteer to think of the color of this animal.
(of course it will be grey as it’s the only color an elephant can be!)
Step 10: Now look deeply into your volunteers ayes and say…
“But There Are No Grey
Elephants In Denmark!”
3: Psychokinesis – Make Things Move Without Touching Them!
How To Perform Psychokinesis Mental Magic:
This mental magic trick is extremely simple but extremely powerful.
The potency of the effect depends on your convincing performance.
You lay a pencil or a cigarette on the table and explain that you are going to use the power of your mind to make the object move.
Rub your hands together as if to draw up some special energy and put your hands towards the pencil or cigarette but without touching it.
As you do this, secretly blow onto the table.
I have marked a red X where you need to blow – it’s just before the object on the table.
The pencil or cigarette will mysteriously start rolling across the table!
PRO TIP:
Keep your lips tight and and try not to screw your face up as you do this.
Imagine you are blowing a very thin laser beam of air onto the table just before the object.
This works best with cigarettes as they are lighter and perfectly round. You may use a straw or find a pencil or pen that is perfectly round and not hexagonal.
As you are gesturing with your hands, you misdirect attention away from your face.
With plenty of practice, you can get very good at this and go completely undetected!
Do not repeat this trick too many times to the same audience as they will eventually suss it out! – Keep it a mystery.
